Invalid DX Call
This is my second crash, happened during a Tactical Battle (only 2 heroes versus group of spiderlings). No slow down before hand on strategic map (normal Random Map)

I have gotten the invalid DX call crash a few times. I have an ATI video card, is it isnt about the video card.
same, and i'm having an nvidia GTX 275
Your game was interrupted by a popup or some other program on your computer causing the game to lose focus. This can cause a crash in your game. You can manually force this issue by entering a game and then doing an ALT+TAB which will yield the same result:
DebugMessage: Error flipping back buffer to primary buffer.
DebugMessage: Device lost
Debug Message: ResourceManager::Invalidate
It seems this is a very common bug =| This still happens with 1.06
If you run the game in windowed mode (at desktop resolution it will appear as fullscreen only without edge scrolling), does this still happen?
Debug.err files from anyone experiencing this may be helpful, please don't assume that someone else's will be enough. The more data we have, the quicker we can track it down. ![]()
Sigh, still happening with the latest patch.
Full screen, of course. In windowed mode, it doesn't affect it, but I'm losing performance based on full screen.
This is caused by alt-tabbing for me; no popup's or anything. just alt tab out of the full screen game.
This is getting annoying.
