Tactical Battle Camera

Hey everyone, just wondering if there is a way to turn off the camera auto follow for arrows and spells?  I unchecked "follow unit" in the gameplay menu but that didn't seem to help, I guess that is only for the map.  The constant snapping back and forth of the camera makes my eyes bug out.

also, is there a way to turn off auto select next unit?  I see that it just goes down the unit tree but that doesn't follow how the units are placed on the battlefield.

Thanks in advance.  I am enjoying the game so far.

I think I saw an option in the settings to disable auto unit selection, but I'm not sure. At the moment there doesn't seem to be a way to turn off camera tracking spells/arrows either :(

Yeah I don't think there is one.  I looked.  I mean I really looked and found nothing that relates to this.  Its extremely annoying and screws up my camera in tactical battles something bad.

I saw that too.  I like it for the map selection of units but if it turns off the feature during battles, I may just have to use the "next idle unit" shortcut more often. :P

To help you spot idle units, they'll have a thick yellow border on the unit tree on the left hand side. Units that are out of moves won't have the border. I'm actually not sure if that setting also works in tactical battles or not, I have it on and haven't tried turning it off :P

In the gameplay-options you can check or uncheck "auto-move camera in tactical battles"

Which does not work.  Every ranged attack, bows or spells, still has the camera swing.

Actually, that's not true.  Every ranged attack with a moving particle effect has the camera swing.  Sometimes when I cast 'Firebolt', there is no flame, simply '-x' or 'Miss' over the target.  But every attack that has a moving particle effect (arrow or fire trail) will have the 'camera swing'.  And sometimes the start point is off the map, not at the unit.

We're updating the option in the coming patch to also toggle projectile following.

Thank you! The camera jumping while shooting with bows is really annoying.

awesome.  I can't wait to position the camera behind a monster and watch the arrows/spells come flying at it. }:)

And also this:

+ Auto selection of the next unit in tactical battles should no longer occur if the game option for not auto selecting is turned on.
