For Those Having Technical Issues with the game

I've been playing since the 1.0 version and have only had one minor issue and have well over 24 total hours into the game now. I thought I would show my settings and you could try them to see if it helps stop your issues.

First the Video options of the game:

Resolution @ 1400x1050     Low Res Shadows

Use Fullscreen Numerous x 2 = Amount of ground cover

Anti Alias OFF 

Normal Unit Scale

Limit Frame Rate: ON

Limit Frame Rate to 60

GFX:Disable Depth on Field: ON

Max Tex Atlas Size: 1024x512

Max Mip Map Levels: DEFAULT

Scale Units while Zooming: OFF

Font Smoothing: ON

Stylized Lighting: ON

Softness Adv Light @ 75

 

Then GAME SETTINGS:

Skip Intro: ON                                                    

Use Tooltips: ON

Tool Tip Delay : 0.02

Draw Grid: ON

Smart Player Colors : OFF

Clot Map Only: OFF

Cloth Map Zoom: 80

Editor Cloth Zoom : 70

Cloth Flow Brightness 20

Clip Cursor in Fullscreen: OFF

Edge Scroll Speed 100

Edge Scroll Delay 0.10

Cloth Color Intensity 100

Disable Zoom Limit : ON

Enable Auto Turn: OFF

Enable Quick Move: OFF

Use Localized Data ON

Use Mods: OFF

Flollow Select Unit ON

Auto Select Unit ON

Show City Level upgrade ON

Zoom to Cursor ON

Enable City Build Mode Zoom: OFF

Enable Autosave ON

Set autosave to 1

Tact Battle Threshold set to 1

Enable Janusk ON

Automove Cursor in Tactical OFF

Same, no crash at all. Well apart from the occasional load game crash.

You do know that everyone has different hardware, OS, and software configurations...right? These settings are worthless to everyone but you. 

 

Considering the campaign is completely broken, and there are still a large number of bugs, I sure hope the dev team doesn't plan on taking any time off until these issues are taken care of.

Unfortunately the graphical settings aren't really something that can help many of us having issues. For example if I zoom into the 3d map my GPU use goes to 0%. That's right, when the game requires my video card the most, it doesn't actually call on it to do any of the work. *shrug* the cloth map works fine and I'm happily awaiting the fix to come through. I've no doubts it's partly the fault of ATI, their drivers have always been pretty bad.
