Game runs by itself (really fast) after 1.01

Started playing after 1.01 update and a few turns in on a saved game the game runs by itself (turns counter keeps running). People are running and moving around really fast (not playable characters, little townsfolk). I'll wait til zero patch and see before doing anything. Just wanted to list this occurrence.

Hitting the end turn seems to trigger it.

Do you have all units garrisoned or on autoexplore with auto-turn enabled in the options?

I looked and auto turn was on so I turned it off and that seemed to do it. Thank you. Yes, I just happened to save the game with all my units in town.
