how do you load a mod? with sync?

I need to hurry!

iv been given the beta for sins of the prophets but i dont know how to load a mod or us the sync with windows.  i get the download for windows, but where do i save it??? if it is suppose to be my desktop i can do that, but i just dont know.  ruined my whole Fn day!

Go to My Computer, click the Tool, then Folder Options from the drop down menu.  Go to the View tab and select "Show hidden files and folders" in the advanced settings list.

 

Install Sync just like you would any other program.  Then follow the directions to sync up a folder in the proper mod directory.  Sync to a new folder in it, not to the mod directory itself.  In Sins, you can find where that is on your computer by going into the mods tab in the options and clicking show mod path.  It will be in one of the formerly hidden files.

ok, i have sync loaded to my desktop.  i can find the mod directory, but i cant save the MOD file ther.  where do i save the MOD file i am being given?   just anywhere in ENTRENCHMENT?
