Midnight stones quest

I collected 3 midnight stones and went to the designated place (enchanter;s workshop), but all I get is a message that if I come back with 3 ms he will forge ma a blade...but I have 3 stones already with me... Am I doing something wrong? How do I turn the quest?

I always thought you needed 4 of them... but im probably wrong

I thought they were 4, too. Try getting one more and then go back.

I was playing last night and got this quest and it never actually says how many you need to get...
