Avatar: The Last Airbender Mod?

Anyone interested in trying this?

As soon as I read all the previews and info about this game, and how the primary elements of magic were earth, wind, fire, and ice I immediately thought of an Avatar: The Last Airbender mod.

Sadly, however, I'm terrible at programming, 3D Modeling, and anything pertaining to the process of a conversion mod. However! I am completely willing to help produce the project, as well as write a lot of really neat storylines, and possibly record some dialogue as well.

Here's the basic breakdown of the mod:

There will be 4 nations: Fire Nation, Earth Nation, Water Nation, and Air Nation

Every nation will get one specialized fire bender, earth bender, etc.

The campaign may focus on a time period just before Aang is rediscovered. In other words, the time period when the Fire Nation started to invade and take over.

Anyway, it was just a hopeful dream I had, and I'm hoping at least a few people would be interested in a mod idea like this!

Dear Hydrohuman,

I find the best way to build interest in a mod is to just start building one no matter your skills. I suggest learning Python, learning to make some basic 3d models, try to do some easy reskinning, etc. Do go through plenty of tutorials. I learned how to use Blender so I could make models, and I produced art for my mod. Not good art, but just good enough to illustrate some concepts. If you just start doing basic things: makes some "bending" spells, make some Avatar themed tiles, etc, you are much more likely to build a successful mod.

IMO, at least.

Yeah, when it comes to modding, the best approach is definitely to do it yourself.

Also focus on process over appearance 1st. using existing content then making little changes as you go to adapt the appearance to the effects.
