new installation

hi, sorry for my english, im not perfect ;-)

today i had to reinstall my windows, first i made a image from drive c:

after i installed windows, impulse and objectdock2 i tried and tried and tried to get my dock back!

it doesnt work with impulse (archive couldt not be restored), i looked on my imagefile for docksettings, but nothing. how in the world  can i get back my dock??? is anywhere a settingfile?

can someone help me please?

Hi there.

So you're trying to restore all your dock settings such as icons, shortcuts, ect? If I understand correctly, you made a copy of the C-drive, before you reinstalled windows. I would try copying the old directory folder over the new one.

(OLD) C:/Program Files/Stardock/Objectdock  <-- Copy that folder and merge it with the new one in

(NEW) C:/Program Files/Stardock/Objectdock. 

It might work, but you might need to just download the skin again along with whatever icons/shortcuts/docklets you had......
