Beta 4 Combat Bug

Whenever I start a new character and equip a weapon there is no Attack value assigned attack always stays 0, also Books found to not appear increase stats. Since attack is 0 any combat attempt causes my Leader to miss.

Any recruited or trained character doesn't have this problem.

These bugs were not in the beta 3 series.

OK I know what the problem is, when you Leader buys an item it is not automatically equipped. If you have multiple weapons no weapon can be equipped. Go back into the shop sell the extra weapon and then you can equip it.
