I bought this crap 3 days ago you charged me, and Ive yet to get my activation, I cannot get emails back..This is pathetic!!! anyone want to help a paying customer out???? Or how about just give me my money back???
Hello detfan68, I went into IRC and left a link to this thread, hopefully a support person will reply. 
From requirements, Impulse must be installed in order to download and update software.
Doesn't make sense..Ive been using the 30 day trial decided to buy it, and when I did, the system took my money, but I got no avtivation email, no nothing..Now im stuck with something i paid for and cannot use..IM not an expert on this stuff, but it I pay, get charged it should work? Im not going to buy again..Hense the tech support email 3 days ago and nothing back yet..Is this how they run their company?
Maybe a trip down to the front door will get me help??
The free version doesn't "get activated". If you're running the free trial version now that needs to be uninstalled before you install the pay version. So you want to:
1. Download and install Impulse, registering with the email you bought the Windowblinds with. Afterwards you should see Windowblinds as available to download (may need to exit and restart Impulse, not sure). Exit Impulse.
2. Open up Windowblinds configuration and apply the Windows Classic theme (1st theme on the left). Might be a different name for Vista or win7, but anyway the default Windows theme.
3. Uninstall the free version of Windowblinds.
4. Reboot
5. Start Impulse and install your purchased Windowblinds.
6. Reboot.

Check your email, as it looks like the support staff just responded to your ticket.
Also it sounds like you emails from Stardock might be getting blocked by a spam-blocker. You might want to check your spam folders.
edit - Looks like we all showed up at the same time. Getting cluttered, I'll wander off now.
