Start Fences with Command Line Parameters

Hey Stardock Team,

I have one Question:

Can I run Fences with Command Line Parameters and which parameters are available?

I want to use the really nice option "Auto-Hide Desktop Symbols" with a shortcut or batch-file so I can hide my icons

with a dock-icon or just start my pc with hidden desktop icons.

I have found the following parameters with a process-manager:

Fences.exe /quickhidehelp
Fences.exe /initialsetup
Fences.exe /FromDesktop

but I need the parameter to hide my icons.

Can you help please?

Have a nice day!

All you have to do is double click on the desktop to hide all fences and the icons within.

If they are hidden when you turn off your machine, they should be hidden when you start up.

I have the Pro version but it should be the same with the free.

Yep, hiding and unhiding is that easy.

When installed Fences is integrated into the Windows desktop, even though Jeff did add the function to turn Fences on and off it is not recommended to do so. (option is under tools, more tools (at bottom), read the warning when turn Fences off.).

Thanks for the off-topic, girls.

I don't wanna know how to hide the icons or how to shut down the app (I know it),

I want to know how to hide the icons WITH Command Line Parameters.

If you cannot read correctly, please go back to school.

I have found some more parameters:

Fences.exe /uninstall
Fences.exe /uninstallprompts
Fences.exe /uninstallsilent
Fences.exe /installsilent
Fences.exe /install
Fences.exe /verifyintegrety
Fences.exe /checkforupdates

but not the one parameter to hide the icons via a Batch-Script or a Shortcut in my dock.

I've found another way to hide my Icons with a Batch-Script or Shortcut inside my dock

so I don't have to use Fences anymore and I don't see any reason why I have to buy Fences now.

Have a nice day.

I would also much like to see this functionality. To either through a command line switch or an in-program option be able to hide/unhide fences by the use of a keyboard combination. I've just started to evaluate Fences as an augmentation to my desktop and I feel it's worth buying with just a few more logical features added.

:( no command line to do that presently. though, i have made note :) perhaps try "/togglequickhide" or "/enablequickhide" or "/disablequickhide" in a future build.
