Go to hell Photobucket

Go to hell Photobucket

I had always preferrred Photobucket in the beginning because clicking on a photo in a post didnt first send you to an inbetween page like some other image hosting sites.

No limit on resolution if you stayed under 1 mb.Worked great.

Then I noticed my screens were looking bad and thought I was using Photoshop wrong or something.

Turns out photobucket started recompressing all your images to save bandwidth even tho you stayed under the maximum rez and size criteria.

No warning, dosnt matter if its a free account or pro...just ruined all your images.

Sounds like the netflix effect to me.

Screw you Photobucket.

Skydrive is linkable, or Dropbox might be a good solution.

all .MSN (Pay) .hotmail (Free) .Live (Free)  are only good if you check them at lest every 3 months that's the down side..

what do you not like about them, just curious.

I have

MSN,  Live, Road Runner, Yahoo, Gmail,   seen AOL no way don't want

Had Hotmail  forgot password so had to make a new account with WinCustomize so been here a lot longer then it shows.

I don't like creating accounts and giving away private data to companies that either use or sell that data for targeted advertisements. When I do, it's because there is a need for it and not a want. I provide my personal data to SD and they have proven to be a trusted site. However, I didn't like it when I had to create a off site (third party) account in order to show pictures within the forums, but I did cause a picture is worth....

AND, just because it makes perfectly good business sense doesn't mean I have to like it.
