How Can I Download the Latest Full Version of ObjectDock Plus?

I have recently reinstalled Windows 7 and I am trying to install ObjectDock Plus again. The referenced download website for those who have purchased the full version does not work.

I have my receipt and all my purchase info including my serial number but I can't get to the download site. I saw another post where a support person responded to the registered email with the download location. I'm hoping someone can help me. Thanks for your time.

I don't want to install Impulse. I don't think I should have to install impulse and other utility apps. I try to keep the apps to a minimum on my desktop so I'm hoping that there is a way to only install Objectdock plus only.

Not as far as i know, Impulse is the download manager for all stardock products. It only needs to run when installing or updating any of the Stardock software range. You could always install impulse. get objectdock plus and then uninstall impulse, This will not affect OD+ in any way.

Impulse aint that bad, It can be very useful for keeping on top of the latest updates to your stardock software but i do agree it's not for everyone and maybe a way for just the install files for the software you have bought should be able to be accessed. But this is the way stardock do it, so if you wan't their products you have to have impulse. :)

that was just a link to the objectdock page itself, I think you would only be able to get the free version from there and not the plus one.

Here we go.

Install Impulse, then use it to install OD2+, then uninstall Impulse.

Nutshell69, you don't have ObjectDock v2 Upgrade on your account. You do however qualify for an upgrade for $9.95:

Hi there, I own both ObjectDock 1.9 and the upgrade 2.0 too.

I've installed the 2 version in my new re-format drive but I saw thec flyout menu are not yet in this version :( really bad.

So searching online I've found out to get rid of this, but I cannot download the 1.9 version. When I try to download through Impulse, the program ask to be update for doing that (Impulse needs to be updated/restarted before applications can be installed or updated) . I try but every time same reply: There was an error while impulse updating. So every time I try to download and archive the 1.9 version of ObjectDock, I cannot do that.

Please anyone can help me?

Sorry for my bad english, it's not mt native language

Here you go, found in a 3d's forum: working for me

1) When an update is required, don't bother to update.
(2) Close Impulse.
(3) Run Impulse manually as administrator
(4) Say "Yes, I really do want to run as administrator"
(5) If need be, enter your registration details.
(6) Auto-update will occur.
(7) Repeat steps (2) - (6) if need be.
(8) Run Impulse as your normal account (non-admin)
(9) If it prompts for "credentials" again because it thinks update failed, that's only because of leftover previous attempt, so enter your normal credentials (not admin), and it will indicate update *may have* failed, but close Impulse and re-open, and now no more complaints.

Impulse is bloated garbage from Stardock, I have disliked it since the day it was released. Stardock Central is far better and if all you have is a few Stardock products, they should not shove Impulse down our throats.

i agree..many of the upgrades for a lot of the software programs used weren't needed..i think just a graphical upgrade would have been more suitable

Stardock Central vs Impulse is like Windows ME vs Windows 7.

[almost] - even SDC isn't THAT bad....;)

Impulse isn't bloated garbage...in reality it is brilliant when it comes to maintaining SD's software etc. up to date.

Admittedly it appears 'clunky' if you only use it for one product.....but once you get past 2 or three...it really starts to make practical sense...;)

If you can't accept the Impulse makes sense, that's okay, most things in life don't make sense when you get down to it. :sun:

If you don't believe me have someone explain how marriage makes sense.  :O :-"

All kidding aside, Impulse is okay.

Boy now THAT's an understatement XD   Ya I've gotten quite fond of Impulse.  Got it set up the way I want and it's just a darn fine little program and pretty to boot.:)

Marriage 'makes sense' because married men live longer than unmarried ones.

But maybe it only SEEMS longer....;)

Having the same problem............tried to upgrade to V2 on several times over the past month or so. Impulse fails to show it with the pre-released versions etc ticked............Does not even show in the software section..........Tried the link on another post which resets Impulse and that don't work either and then try tp dpwnload direct and get this

Pre-Requisite must be purchased first

You must have purchased the pre-requisite product before attempting to purchase ObjectDock Plus v2 Upgrade.

Please check the product page here for more information.

How difficult can it be to make a purchase!!!!...........and yes I do have the latest version of Object Dock Plus.........and it shows in my Impulse.

One frustrated Lion!XO
