Suddenly hates Outlook 2007?

Hi,

I updated to the new version of DeskScapes last night and seem to have this strange problem. For some reason, whenever I load Outlook 2007, the DeskScape just pauses for no apparent reason. When I close Outlook, it resumes! Can someone shed some light on this?

Many thanks!

Ian.

If might be a simple question of not having enough resources.  If you identify what your resources are it might help solve the problem.  :sun:

-What version of Windows?
-What background are you using?
-What are your UAC settings?
-What are the basic specs of your computer?

It's been absolutely fine until I updated. I have Win7 x64 running on a Core 2 Duo 2.8GHz with 8GB RAM. This is happening on all dreams. It's not a problem with my machine, I know that. Like I said, it worked flawlessly before this update. I have noticed that the 'Pause DeskScapes' option is greyed out when Outlook is running so something seems to be triggering a pause?

Thanks!

Ian.

Are you sure Deskscapes isn't detecting Outlook as being maximized?

Do you have just one monitor?

I have two monitors. It works when both are enabled but not on the single one. Outlook isn't maximised and I've tried flicking between the two window sizes and it's not doing anything. It's paused even when Outlook is minimised.

If you open the settings page and go to the advanced tab and untick pause when maximized, does it work better?

We have reproduced this and the next update will resolve this.

I don't know a hard date, but it should be very soon.
