Unable to update

I got sins of a solar empire as a gift months ago and finally got round to opening it to find that it is missing a soundtrack CD but the worst part is that there is also no serial number in the case. Does this mean that I cant update my game?

Did you check the back of the manual?  Usually, that is where the serial number is located.

there was no manual with it either. If it wasnt for fact there is no receipt for it now I would take it back to Game. But I doubt they would help since its been 3 months since game was bough from them

no it was a brand new copy

I think they may have made a mistake as well since the box was only for sins but contained 2 other disks with sins and 3 other games
