Any further information on hotseat availability?

I'm anxiously awaiting this game, most likely I'll be ordering it when beta II opens up actually, I come here every day to check and see when that'll be haha. My friends and I enjoy playing hotseat games, and these days they seem so very rare. Right now we're entertained by dominions III but the AI in it is just awful. Having a game that provides a challenging AI and hotseat play would be perfect.

I can't seem to find any information on the availability of hotseat play outside side of a "maybe"

I promise if there is hotseat play my chance of purchase will go up from 99% to 100%

Am I just bad at searching or is it still a great mystery?

I think the mystery continues...

that and PBEM - last I heard they may be in but may be part of an expansion.
