renewing my OD subscription

from Stardock Forums

Okay, I realize its a bit soon as my sub for OD doesn't expire until 2011, but I got an email from stardock today about stuff being on sale. is the $24 price now my best option or is there a different link I would want to use for a good deal on extending my sub before it expires?

Hey ID, since it is a sale for purchase of OD, will the system for those with existing sub know to extend our sub or will it be treated as buying a second sub and thus end up with 2 OD licenses.

Okay, well I'm heading to the doctor so hopefully this will be answered when I get home. I was planning on going ahead and bying the ObDoc 2.0 upgrade and will do the renewal at the same time once home since its a better deal. Anyway it should be a simple process of adding both to cart, pay, and then my desktop sub should update itself next time I launch impulse correct? Just want to make sure I do things right. Also, someone else mentioned sometimes there are stardock coupons. If I come across one in my emails before I do the deed would it be applicable to this or only good for new items?

EDIT: well that went well. Went ahead and renewed this and grabbed Odock 2.0 at the same time. My sub for ODesktop updated to an additional yr and OB 2 beta started showing in the "My Software" page of impluse.
