Bit of a strange name choice if you ask me.
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

Wait, what?

Actually they've had that for at least a few weeks. I used it on the first week of that several-week long sale that just recently ended.
It's nothing fantastic- nice looking but a bit high of ram usage to run all the time for my blood (well, if I actually had friends on the net, then it may be useful).
Comrades been out for years. As far as I know it was just outfitted with direct D2D support sometime in the last two (possibly one.)
Didn't work terribly well on my box. Only 'common' app I've ever had that glitched on downloading things if you had Microsoft Security Essentials on.
I assume they've fixed it by now. I no longer care.
I despise Comrade. I still use the Download Manager D2D first used (even if I have to go trawling through FilePlanet to get it on reformat).
Like SumoX said, it sucks RAM pretty heavily, takes a long while to boot and when it does, it's subject to any number of rather serious problems.
It ain't getting back on my computer, that's for sure.
