Hello!
I'm currently using WindowBlinds 7 with Skin Studio 7 to make skins. I would like for these skins to be compatible with the three supported Operating Systems. I'm currently running Vista on my main laptop which is where I make my amazingly awesome (and seemingly never complete) skins.
Anywho, as I said, I also want these to work on XP and Windows 7. Since Windows 7 is so similar to Vista, I've found that most of the main skin elements that I build work find with Windows 7, but the 7-specific parts remain unskinned because I have no way of testing them for myself and I don't want to juggle the skin back and forth to have someone else test it for me.
We should be getting a Windows 7 upgrade for one of our desktops. We also have an older desktop that's running Windows XP. Which would give me access to all three platforms.
Which brigs me to my question. If I want to test the skins I'm building to see if they work on those other platforms, would I be required to purchase WindowBlinds for XP and W7 all over again? Or would I be able to download Impulse on those computers, log in, and download my previously purchased copy of WindowBlinds to those other two computers as well?
I understand fighting software piracy and all that. But it used to be if you bought software on a disk, you used your little cd key and installed it wherever you wanted. Quite frankly, I miss those days.
The internet makes things so complicated.
