Elemental music (possible to post some mp3s?)

Hey fellow Elemental fans:

I've been [silently] following Elemental for quite some time now, but I haven't come across any posts regarding the game's music.  The few tracks I've heard thus far have been fantastic!  (Check out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3KSDPO_BeY)  Besides the game itself, I'm really excited about the soundtrack now (i.e. I have another reason to look forward to the Collector's Edition).

To the devs: Might I ask who is composing the score?  Also, would it be possible to post some MP3s on the website?  Right now my only option is to repeatedly stream the Youtube link I posted... I would love to have an offical track or two to listen to on the go :)

Heya GreenIsles.  I believe the answer is Michel Van Den Bos.  You can check out this thread where it was talked about-Tiny coincidences

Magicke, thanks for your reply!  Michel Van Den Bos seems like a really talented guy.

I'm still hoping Frogboy could post some Mp3s for us in the near future.

I'd still like some confirmations or clarifications on what's going on in the previous thread, yeah.. but if it is Michiel van den Bos, then yeah, I've got high hopes.

I agree, the discussion in Tiny coincidences seemed a bit vague.  Also confusing is that Michiel van den Bos is not listed for having done GalCiv 2's music.  According to Mobygames, the music for that game was composed by Paul Kerchen, Mason Fischer, and Eric Heberling (see http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/galactic-civilizations-ii-dread-lords/credits).

It's actually Mason Fisher. Mason, Brad, and myself have been working on the Elemental soundtrack for around 2.5 years now, so that side of the project has gotten ALOT of attention...polishing the various themes to make some very memorable music. We'll be putting out more videos of the game soon, and will try to stick some of the better peices in to give a sample of the soundtrack.

Nice. I especially like the title melody and how it changes depending on which menu you're in. It's very memorable and I'm happy to hear that the other tracks will have similar care given. :)

Thanks for clearing that up BoogieBac! It's good to hear the soundtrack's receiving special attention, as music can really make or break the mood/feeling of a game.
