Dear Stardock

I was wondering is we can hope to get some support from you guys for upcoming comunity turnament Pacov started.Would you be kind enough to throw in some free games for the first 3 places?

Other thing is for future turnaments:

Would it be possible that upon purchasing something from Impulse shop we could put in special code that will transfer 3,5 or 10% of the game price into our turnament account. I really think demigod users will be more willing to buy from Impulse that way then Steam. Simply put we would love to have means to support the game we like.

Ps. Look how many people come back to the game just for the turnament. Also all of them had to open impulse too ;)

End of Wipuliwo's quote

The point would be supporting ongoing community activity with easy symbolic gestures.  I wrote Frogboy a PM along these lines a few weeks ago, but I imagine it got lost in the flood...

It wouldn't cost Stardock anything to give $50/$30/$10 credit in the Impulse store to the top three teams, and it would engender a lot of good will.

:sun:

edit: also, Irek, if you want a mod to see this in the next few days best bet is to put it in the Demigod subforum.

I imagine there are all kinds of legal issues with prizes, tournaments, state and intercontinental giveaways. SORRY RHODE ISLAND

I doubt it.  Assigning credit to pre-existing client accounts doesn't generate liability even in Rhode Island, and everyone playing has an account.  It would be extremely simple for Stardock to make this happen if they wanted to.

I'd say that we'd have a better chance to get SD support if this becomes a regular monthly/bimonthly event. Like everything else, we need to demonstrate that we are committed to something before we should expect support from anyone.

I doubt it, they make no money off a community tournament.
