wlcomm.exe - Windows Live Communications Platform. Background task spawned by Windows Live Messenger when you have Windows Live Contacts (also called Windows Live People) enabled. "Windows Live Contacts" is the ability of your Windows Live address book to be updated in realtime when your friends update their own Windows Live information (ie. they've changed their cell phone number, or they've moved home, etc...), and vice versa when you update your own Windows Live profile and you have configured some or all of your friends to automatically receive your updated details.
