Website as desktop background

Do any of these programs let you set a website as your desktop background? If so, is it an actual live website that updates and has clickable links? I would like to know the answer before i purchase this because that is really what im interested in and the other features is just an added bonus for me. Thanks in advance!

I don't see an application on Object Desktop that would allow you to do this??? However, I did do a Google Search on this subject and it lead me to the following link...

Yes, some do.......... most don't.

Nothing that we offer allows this.  If you're on Windows XP, Active Desktop provides this functionality.

Hi Shirley,

Any ideas on how we could do it?  I used to link to my own web site under XP but not anymore. :'(   I would love to be able to do that again.

Could you use DesktopX, the web control, and z-order set to Desktop to accomplish that?

I wonder . . .

Not quite setting the website as a background, but probably a pretty close and workable option.

Thanks for the great info.  I will give Desktop X a try and see if that works.
