Kazaa changes its tune on Spyware, says its not included!

Kazaa has adapted a 'No Spyware' Policy (seen here) in a move that can only be seen to undermine "Kazaa Lite" the so called 'Lite' version of Kazaa Media Desktop that has all Spyware removed and search restrictions lifted from the application. C|nets download.com recently pitched Kazaa Media Desktop as the most downloaded software on the planet, with 230 million downloads to date and counting.

In the past KMD has seen many angry customers reaching for the uninstaller when they have seen strange activity and applications like Lavasofts Adaware report various spyware applications included in the 7mb package. In the past you could opt out, but as KMD changed hands to Sharman Networks an "opt-out" option became increasingly difficult which is where Kazaa Lite came in.

Looks like they're just telling you it's in there, thinking that makes it NOT spyware. It's like a college professor told me: "Document everything. If it's documented it's not a bug, it's a feature." How about we use the term "malware" instead. Either way, it's intrusive and annoying.
