Impulse Sever Won't Resond.

Hi, I just purchased Windows Blinds 7 and downloaded Impulse... I went to make a new account and it said when i clicked "Next" it said "Server Not Responding, please check your internet connection" I was able to go on Firefox so I knew the internet was not the problem. I turned off the firewall and tried again, and it still didn't work. What can I do to fix this? I really want to use Windows Blinds!

Maybe the connection has been severed?

Seriously....it happens that the server goes down sometimes. Keep trying, and be sure you don't have it blocked in your firewall, etc.

 

If it persists, email support@stardock.com  .

Please make sure your system time and date are set correctly. Also, if you have proxy information entered into Internet Explorer, Impulse may be trying to use that. Click the blue menu button in the upper left of Impulse and click 'Preferences'. Click the 'Connection' listing on the left and make sure there is no check in the box for 'Use custom settings'.

If this does not help, I recommend doing what RedneckDude suggested and send an email to support@stardock.com if you have not already done so.

I can't get passed the screen below to mess with the settings, I sent a message to the support center yesterday.. haven't gotten a message back, hopefully they will soon though :-" . Thanks for the help |-) .

Just to make sure you've already tried: you should be able to select "Log in with my existing account" and use the same credentials you use on these forums.  Is this also not working for you?

Nope, doesn't work either :( . Any way I try, either trying a new account, or using the same sign in stuff as forum, I get this -

Make sure you have not blocked Impulse in your firewall.

Also check if Internet Explorer can browser websites rather than firefox.
