ObjetDock Plus 1.9 for Vista

Object Dock can't start!

I've upgraded my Laptop from XP to Vista Home Premium and have installed OD Plus 1.9 which on the beginning worked fine. However after running OD several times I got the message "OD isn't functioning any more"

Tried to uninstall and reinstal OD but alway got the same message. I have OD on my other 2 Vista laptops and are working fine.

Can somebody advise?

When do you get the error message?  Is it as soon as you start ObjectDock, or is it after a while? If it's after a while, is there anything in particular you are doing that seems cause it, or does it appear random? Try verifying ObjectDock through Impulse. If that doesn't work, I recommend trying ObjectDock with the default settings. To do so, ensure that ObjectDock is closed, then rename the following folder to something else and start ObjectDock again:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus

I get the messaga after starting OD.I've verifyed through Impulse alreday.I can do what ever I want it doesnt't work!

Does uninstalling ObjectDock, then deleting the settings folder, then reinstalling ObjectDock solve the problem?

The settings folder can be found under:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus

aka

C:\Users\<YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus

No chance to do anything! If I uninstall the OD plus and instal OD Free version I do not face any problems.

Has Stardock anything to do with it? Have they blocked my download for OD+.?

I didn't update my account and didn't extend my membership any more !

 

Did they throw  me out for some reason?

It's funny as I have OD Plus installed about one  year ago on my second Laptop without any problem!
