Are you trying to run it on anything other than XP.  The WoW theme is quite old and hasn't been updated to work with newer OSes.

Icons do not normally change when you apply a WB skin, you probably need to install IconPackager and look in the Iconpackager section here at WC and look for a set of icons.

Did you download from here?: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/downloads/other-downloads.html

There are not custom icons included in that theme.  It's a skin and a wall.  This is a screenshot: https://www.stardock.com/products/mycolors/screenshots/World_of_Warcraft_vista.JPG

The screenshot that you posted is from 2005.

The MyColors theme does NOT have icons in it.  What is shown in that screenshot is not the MyColors theme, and is not currently distributed.  You can find similar icons, but you will need IconPackager in order to use them
