ObjectDock 2 is still in beta.  There is no manual or guide atm.  If you had ObjectDock Plus version 1.9 all you need to do is copy the folder from any ObjectDock backgrounds you had installed and paste the folder in the ObjectDock 2 backgrounds folder.

ie: Tabbed in the Tabs folder and Tile in the Tiles folder.

I haven't found any need to adjust any config files to get them to work.  Only need to restart ObjectDock 2 after pasting the new background folders.

Well..the problem is that the new version has lots of new settings and also uses different folder names (IE Zoomed instead of non-tabbed)

I didn't have 1.9 that long I only tried the trial and then immediately purchased 2.0 because I liked the program..my problem is I am having issues with commands..such as I can't find an option for the indicators anywhere like 1.9 had....also I don't know how to change certain things like the spacing between the seperators and things like that... :(

Is there a document for 1.9? (Ill check your previous link)

Thanks

If you click on the representative picture of the dock in the configuration window you will get a window opening with adjustments you can make. Clicking on the selection 'Edit the contents of this dock' from the resulting window will give you further adjustments that can be made.

Im aware of those, but there are some options that you can only make in the ini file (Im referring to making my own skin/themes)

If you are interested in making your own skin/themes then you could contact WebGizmos by PM and ask if he'd be willing to give you some pointers.

I seem to recall someone saying he 'knows his stuff' on ObjectDock.  ;)

I agree with Hankers, you will see some other skinners in the WC ObjectDock Library but I think they received help from WebGizmos when they had questions or problems. :sun:

I'm doing fine figuring some things out but for the most part I don't know what the parameters ni the CFG files are for.. some I figured out..some not..and there are others I don't know.
