Widening Titlebar

I want to know the simplest way to wide the Titlebar on a theme that someone else made. I read in an old manual I need to edit the file and add a "metrics" section. Can I not do it through Skinstudio 7?

Make it broader, fatter. So if right to left is length, then up and down is width. I want to make the titlebar extend further down, become wider.

Did you try changing the WB settings?  You can set the Taskbar for wide.  If you've already tried that and it doesn't work, you will need to use Skin Studio and edit the graphc or import it into another graphics program.

Try increasing the Title bar font size or the margins relative to the font

Windowblinds refers to that as height.  You are correct SKS 7 will not adjust this as far as I know.This can be done in note pad but I will warn you this setting affects many aspects of the skin.The best way is open SKS goto title bar and stretch the height in your art program. :)
