Well its been a while since I posted here and thought I would start back by posting about a video I watched that had me absolutely stunned. A video of Al-Qaida training children to be (insert your own word here) terrorist, insurgents, whatever. If you watch it, it should make you wonder that the adults are so radicalized as to think of training children into the ranks at this age.

Then you can go on to see how we have treated some of the kids in Iraq and wonder do they (the people who see this) really know the difference in the two societies? What is the underlying difference between one group of people that will train young children to carry weapons and kill adults, and a society that goes out of its way to let kids be kids.

Of course you can always watch video of US Soldiers torturing Children, but why would you want too??

We need to just let kids be kids, no matter where they are. I have some great videos of soldiers interacting with children. The (insert your word here) post videos of themselves training their kids to kill. Hmmm I know what my son is going to learn.

The title gets some American's attention, unfortunately this stuff doesn't sell papers or advertisements. Now if they really were harming kids that would be big news.

It's sad that some people in this world are so passionate about their beliefs and so ignorant to the value of life (especially children) that they would do such things. I can't help but wonder what exactly are they fighting for? If they kill themselves in the process of trying to eliminate the enemy, if they kill their children and women in the process of eliminating the enemy, who will be left to enjoy the fruits of their sacrifice? While I don't agree or approve of their reasons, I can understand why they do if for we are just as passionate about our beliefs except we believe in staying alive in order to enjoy the fruits of our sacrifice.
