Remove title bar of any window...

Hello there,

i'm looking for a possibility to completely remove the title bar in windows 7 without any additional software (just UI changements in windows itself).

is there any known possibility to do so? i just minimized the used font to achieve a much smaller title bar, but i would still like to remove it completely. the fonts can't be set smaller anymore.

(i just changed the sizes of all log-on screen objects to zero to make them disappear, so why shouldn't there be a possibility to do so with the title bar)

thanks for helping

This was  brought up in January in this article https://forums.wincustomize.com/374789

Xiandi's reply #11 works perfectly...

To get rid of the system icon - Go to the per pixel buttons section of SKS and choose System Icon. Go to the 'extra settings' tab and set the icons alpha to zero.....poof, its gone but you can still use it.

To get rid of the titlebar text - The same action can get rid of the titlebar text as well: Go to the Perpixel Frames section and choose Caption. Go to the 'extra settings' tab and set the Active Text Alpha and TextAlphaInactive to zero.

Oops, I thought you were talking about the titlebar text - I just reread your post and realize now that you mean the bar - sorry, can't help you there.

But I need to have SkinStudio? There is no possibility to go into windows soul?

I don't really wanna use stardock stuff.

But I've got another idea. Are there blank fonts? I mean fonts without letters or better with not displayable letters. So I just need to put that font and the text disappears...

Would that work or does anybody know a source for that, I couldn't find any...

Thanks

This is true in 7?  No narrow titlebar option now?  Even with non-PP frames?

(Obviously, still on XP here).

Yes, but Stardock products will allow you to do what you want, obviously they're worth using!

I don't know why you don't want to use Stardock products. It made mine look better and it made me happier. I bet you would want that too. :)
