2010-updated ship data tables?

and warning for obsolete stickies?

There are some excellent but tables providing ship/fighter/bomber data and the very important armor/damage type information in the stickies, but I think woefully obsolete.  The explanations of cryptic ship abilities are also useful, and more recent.

Are there any new ship/combat data resources of this kind updated to the Diplomacy/Trinity era?  On this site or elsewhere? I've been playing for 2 years but this game is so deep I'm still a newb.

Those stickies aren't being maintained.  Many of the authors (the only people who can edit them) are no longer active.  There's one sticky that's nothing more than a broken link, and it still hasn't been removed.  This section needs some maintenance, and updated tables would be a nice addition.

Someone was nice enough to start making an updated reference sheet, which should serve has a ship table. And yes, some of the stickies should be taken down, though I doubt the mods will get around to it.

Thanks! I suppose it must take some work to extract the data from the game.  With a "final" version I suppose it's more likely to see an update.

There's an ongoing joke that anywhere I'm active for long enough, I end up becoming a moderator or site staff.  Seriously, I've got five moderator promotions under my belt, two of which eventually lead to site-staff promotions. 

If I were a moderator, the first thing I'd do is clean up the stickies.  I'd unsticky old and broken threads, and sticky some new and useful ones in their place.  Threads that are old and not being maintained, but still very well-written and useful would just be edited to have a disclaimer regarding their outdatedness.

Seriously though, it is kind of sad with such outdated threads etc. on a forum to a game which still is being developed, patched and expansioned... v_v

i agree! we need better stickies! i mean the mod db stickie hasnt been updated since 2008!
