Lost out on trying the Beta twice.

Don't forget to check "Show pre-release version" in the options of impulse.

iv checked that and nothing shows up. I have an email though saying they got my order. I hope i can join the beta today or soon.

That update still isn't up even for those of us with a build already installed. Sometimes, getting a public release out takes longer than expected, and so far Elemental builds seem to be releasing closer to East Coast evenings than mid-day. Also, if this new crowd joining the beta is large enough, the order processing might mean that you'll see some folks talking about having installed the latest build before you actually have access.

I've never seen Stardock renege on an important promise, and the devs have said that the next beta release will be available to the 'horde' clamoring at the gates.

you mean you already got charged for it twice and the beta is not showing up?

1. contact stardock to return one of the two purchases (explain what happened)

2. go to impulse, manually add in the registration number you received with your purchase (it does not happen automatically for beta products)

3. click show pre-release versions.

be warned that the beta is actually an alpha, half the game has not been implemented yet, there are 1 or 2 world spells and no combat spells yet, there are no heroes, the game crashes and is buggy, etc... this is for very early stage input on things... wait until beta 3 if you want a finished but unpolished game.

however, if you just messed up placing the order and were NOT charged yet, you should place a preorder and wait. it will get you in on the next wave.

Are you sure about that? What version number is it showing for you in Impulse?

I just did an Elemental Pre-Order (LE) and I'm not seeing it on my game list.

Is there something I need to do or did I pre-order outside of a beta push?

Yeah, do I still have a chance at getting in? I pre-ordered the limited edition yesterday.

Probably closed again now. It's supposed to reopen when beta 2 comes out, you'll get in then.

don't worry man the beta isn't great at the moment its buggy and crashs alot plenty of issues but most of these should be fixed for beta 2 which will have muiltiplayer which should be fun but it won't be much to look at till beta 3 when they add the graphics which should keep everyone sane then.

Man not sure if betas are good or a bad thing yet, should know when elemental is finished.

also most of the stuff says "this is a placeholder text"... most of the game doesn't exist yet. It is less of a beta and more of an alpha
