Upgrades are incremental in Impulse, so you won't save much by waiting.

Just had my first of many freezes.    But still, very cool to be getting my first glimpse.  Got through making a custom leader and custom race, began the game, killed a black widow, explored around a bit more, and then froze.    Oh, well...  Try, try again. 

yea i had a lock up just now.i hope that gets fixed im not restarting my computer every so often.played for about 15 minutes before it frooze on me feels alot like galactic civ 2 on the group which is good i love gciv

It will. But this is beta 1, of 5. At this point, expect bugs. Expect crashes. Do not expect fun.

I still haven't recieved an email, so I take it they are still processing orders? Anyone else been charged, but not recieved an email yet? Want to make sure I didn' fall through a crack.

If you got charged Thursday but didn't get an email with your order being processed, its possible they have an incorrect email for you. You should contact support@stardock.com if you don't get the email today.
