Introducing LAUNCHicons

 

Hi there Wincustomizers!

 

Allow me to present ... LAUNCHicons! (pronounced: launchi - cons)

 

In a nutshell: Animated desktop gadgets for launching applications, documents, folders and websites. And then some.

 

Its something that I've wanted to do for a long time, and thanks to Stardock and DesktopX Pro, I have finally been able to realize it.

You can view animated previews and download the other LAUNCHicons from the official LAUNCHicons web site (which was launched today! =D):

Only 3 LAUNCHicons are available so far, but once things have settled with the site you can expect many many more.

Your feedback is essential, please let me know what you think, either here or at the site.

PS: Admins, I have been trying to upload to the DesktopX Gadgets gallery but I keep getting the "Preview link is not valid" error I think it is trying to upload the zip as the preview. Please let me know when this is sorted.

WOW! Bloody fantastic!  Been trying to register at the site, but whenever I hit the activation link it says an error has occurred. I have tried three activation emails, but it won't work. Even tried entering the code too....... No joy :(

Nothing like a demo to show off the capabilities of a new app.  With resizing and recoloring it should be able to fit in very well on most desktops.

A very nice job and eager to see what icons you add.. :sun:

Just added the Flagship LAUNCHicon which matches the website header icon.

Can also be used for media players.
