Transparency effects not working

Windows 7

I have windows 7 ultimate x64. I am running dual monitors and as such cannot run aero. I installed WindowBlinds7 thinking that I could get around that but cannot. Transparency does not work for any theme in WB. What am I doing wrong?

You might want to update you Windows Experience Score and see if that helps.  The other thing that I'm not sure of is with the free version some functions may not work.

Unless I am just missing it, I don't see your graphic card info. If the graphics card does not support aero, you won't see it. Without seeing your WIndows experience  itemized, I'm guessing your graphics card is what is dragging your score down. I went through it two PC's ago when I was on XP and had to get a new card. The good news is, if that is the case, you can get what you need at a very affordable price.

I looked around...CrysttalXP has a thread on the so called 'shareware' versions not supporting aero or it comes and goes. (hacked versions)

Here is a link to the page that tells you what you get with the free/trial version and payed version as well as system requirements.

Dual monitors should not stop Aero support on graphics cards unless they have very little memory.

On Windows 7 / Vista your card does need to support Aero / the DWM in order to get per pixel transparency with WB.  This is not the case on Windows XP.

@Neil: When I am not using dual monitors I get Aero just fine; with it enabled it doesn't work. So even with WB if the hardware does not support it, it doesnt work? Would I want to purchase WB under those circumstances?

Does aero not work if there is no hardware support in windowblinds?
