If there were no clans on SINS...

There is clans in sins?Waaaaa...Seriously tho I hardly see my clan mates rarely sb clan.Dt is non existent.I not sure if its a problem really.

Clans really aren't the problem in sins and often preserve some portion of the community for longer than it would otherwise be.  There are really only 2 clans active at all(SB and BIA).  As minds said, DT is non-existent.  Smurfs and 3 games versions with 2 seperate lobbies are what is killing the community.  It could be said that more active clans would make PUGs more fair because at least you know there is some standard of skill if someone uses the same name and is known rather than a smurf who is not.  Clans do have their detrimental side of course but in this case there is not a sizeable clan presence so the woes of the game can hardly be blamed on the dozen(and thats being generous) people that play tagged in clans.

DTs hate BIA, BIA hate DTs yada yada yada.

Where does this kind of hate come from?  It stems from the little symbol you put in front of your names.

Ironic way we see this---1 example.  DT VS  ???.  Instead of tying to play with everyone we've become rivals before the game even starts.

It's like highschool cliques.  And cliques don't click in my mind.  I play with you this game-against you the next.  Either way-it's a game not a war.  Why choose sides before the PUG even happens?

Would you consider those that smurf a TYPE of clan?  If so-this is my point.

Other topic: its a war game, constant creating new stuff to suprise enymy. If u want make love, go play sims (even name is similar). I picked my side very long time ago, when How kicked my ass so bad i wanted to bite him. And ill stick to it forever.

I don't consider smurfs to be a type of clan.  I think they are people that want to stack teams, want to use anonymity to be jackasses, or lacking courage to play a game they might actually lose.  I do not hate DT at all.  The thing is I haven't seen DT in a long time.  That is why they are non-existant.  DT is not challenged as a clan because you are never around to challenge.  They lack enough pride in their clan to even claim it.  They would prefer to hide and stack teams.  That is their preference.  I do not hate them at all.  Some of them I like.  I do however lack respect for them because they smurf to imbalance teams rather than taking pride in themselves and their clan. 

As to the OP, sins clans are basically nonexistant except for BIA and to a limited extent SB.  In my opinion this is unfortunate because having a few rivalries are a good thing.  Having a good clan base keeps the multiplayer community going longer because of this.  Beating random strangers is fine and dandy but that gets boring after a while.  I like playing with people I know.

Maybe come out of your smurfing and you might play challenging games.

The seperate lobbies is the main problem. I ofthen need to log on booth to check numbers in booth.

I rarely get to play with my clanmates all on the same team.  More often than not we play in pugs and are seperated.  I would prefer to play with my clan on one team but such is sins online.  I would certainly like to play against other clans but there are none to be found practically.  DT would rather smurf and SB doesn't have as large a presence generally.  I get that you don't like clans in general zoomers but clans are not the problem here.

BUT I WANNA PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS!!!! All that I am saying is-moving away from clans ( one extreme being -I will smurf so I can play ONLY WITH my clan-whether I am stomping NOOBs or stacking teams- as DT is showing now.)

It pretty much is this anyways.  Records are useless.  Smurfs are so rampant that most names don't matter.  There is hardly anyone in a clan that actually wears a tag(i.e. they are too busy smurfing).  The only difference is not having chat which is too far.  Personally I think there should be more of a clan base and not less.  There is only negligible presence anyways.

I see a big problem with your statement Zoomers.  I hardly see matches that allow clans to play together. I see people wanting DT players to capts in pugs in order to "even" teams out.  When was the last time you saw a clan allowed to play together?

But seriously... not a problem with my statement, the problem is with your TAG. Because you want to play with your clan rather than the community-you are limited.  "You mean I CAN'T PLAY WITH MY CLAN?"  Limited.

that's why my statement is true.  People want fair 'even" games.  More than they care about clans. 

Clans have taken the "best" players, lumped them together, and put them VS the community.  DT VS ??? was my example. 

The whole community should your your "clan". IF I were a new player coming in-I would want the "EVERYBODY WELCOME" sign on.  Rather than "TAG GAME-YOUR OUT"

Clan games might be fun, but A better ( and faster) way to have an "even" game would be 5v5 PUG (disregarding the smurf clan).  Players then could be evened out by picking by skill rather than TAG.

Z00MERS that is evolution. Peeps that want to be best stick with best, the get friends and joining clans, to be best. Cause ist better to be weekst among best then stronges among week.

What u propose is exactly comie way. even for everyone, no clans,  welcom noobs to skilled games. but u know what ist booring as hell and if it thas what  u realy want im out of here.

I play this game only cause its 1 of very very few games that personal skill mater more than numbers. And its not  Korean style when u need to be fastest,  u just need to be smartest.

I was trying to get a sense of what the actual clan scene was like in Sins currently, but after reviewing the clan postings, visiting the baseically defunct websites of B.I.A. and DT (couldn't find anything for SB) this was the only quote from the clan posting section that spelled it out to me.

That's my writing.  I can tell.
