right click on the dock and choose dock settings and check the box load ObjectDock at startup

I already did that... but it doesn't help =S

I also checked Msconfig>startup>objectdock

didn't help either...

Uncheck the load at startup box and create a shortcut.  Put that shortcut in the startup folder.  Something like:

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (where USERNAME is you).

Reboot.  See if that helps.

unable to find that Start Menu folder..

maybe in win 7 it's different?

and about the first part, load at startup , you mean in the objectdock settings?

I have ObjectDock Plus and have the boxed checked in Object Dock Properties to load at start up and it works.

I'm running Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

Are you running any type of program that limits what gets loaded at start up?

The Start Up folder can be found at  C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/StartMenu/Programs/Startup

Did MS bury that deep enough?  o_O

Create a Short cut and put it in start up folder as below

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock\ObjectDock.exe"

It says that "windows can't find it" =\

I did a little search on the web .. start up folder in win 7 is  %systemdrive%\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

I'll try to copy the ObjectDock.exe into this folder.

Thank you guys again for helping

Just put a shortcut in there.  You shouldn't need the entire exe file.

Great... now I can't open objectdock at all... it says "CrashRpt.dll is missing from your computer"

I tried to download some CrashRpt.dll and put it into system32 folder, but that didn't help =\

Did you put the whole exe there or a short cut just create short for object dock copy it and place the short cut in the Start folder

Start folder can be also found by going to the all programs on start menu and scrolling down until you find start folder and if you have copied the the shrt cut just highlight start and right click and select paste

If that does not work e-mail support as suggested in the above post

i think i can help u...

ok...firstly u need to rename that file u have found in C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\ObjectDock.exe;

rename ObjectDock.exe file same as [shotcut file]; u will found this shortcut file in:

(C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/StartMenu/Programs/Startup) <----- hidden file

simply rename n exit, after that..log off your PC n login again..

have a nice day..

this is very simple n easy solution.

i hope it work..

If anyone gets the same problem ie dock not launching on startup then do the following Open Configure Dock and choose 'Dock Contents' tab. Check 'Display open wiindows along with my icons'. Log off or restart and it should work again. (Make sure load object dock on start up it ticked also).....

Hey Guyz i was also facing the same problm with my objectDock Plus 2. Here's a simple intruction of what i did...

1. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock Plus

Right click on the Object.exe and click on Send to----> Desktop(Create Shortcut)

2. After that rename the shortcut on desktop from "ObjectDock-shortcut" to simply "Objectdock"

3. Then Go to Start-----> All Programs-------> Startup

Right Click on Startup and click on -----> explore. Delete the shortcut "Stardock ObjectDock Plus" and it will automatically uncheck the "Load at startup" option from ObjectDock settings menu. Now cut the shortcut "ObjectDock" from desktop and paste it to Starup folder where previosly there was shortcut of  "Stardock ObjectDock Plus".

4. Now restart your machine and it will work charm at every startup. Enjoy!! and do comment...

 (NOTE: Now don't check the option "Load at Starup" from ObjectDock settings ever. Otherwise the problem will still pursue.)
