Activation Error upgrading WindowsBlinds 7

from Stardock Forums

Impulse just told me that there was an update for my WindowsBlind 7. The update downloads, does the install, but I get an error at the end of the install - Activation Error.  Any ideas?

Is there a sig7.bin in the WindowBlinds directory? Given it was an update, it should already be activated. Right-click in Impulse on it and say Reactivate?

Even I no longer have my SW- OD serial active. I do wonder if something is happening there. I will check back on Saturday, but you can email kwilas at stardock and I can look more privately over the weekend as need be.

Thanks Kris. There is a sig7.bin in the directory, and after a reboot WindowBlinds 7 came up as usual after an update. I went and re-activated it. It does not show up as needing updates . So I guess I'm ok. The Digital sign-in show Feb 1, 2010, and the properties shows version 7.0.0.0. My gut feeling is that's ok. I'll wait for the next update to see if that 'activation' error pops up again. Thanks for your help.
