HELP! I can't install WindowsBlind.

When the program is installing up to 92%, I get this message - "You do not have access to make the required system configuration modifications. Please rerun this installation from an administrator account."

However, I AM the Administrator. So I do not know what is the problem here...

- I am a Windows XP user and it is my first time installing WindowsBlind

What operating system are you using?

Also, which version (paid/trial) are you trying to install and are you installing it through Impulse? On your own computer?

Trial Version 7. I am not installing it through Impulse, but I do have Impulse. I tried to install it before but nothing showed so I did it manually by installing WindowsBlinds itself instead. Yes, this is my own computer.

I just uninstalled everything (Impulse and The 92% of WindowsBlind that was installed).. and now when I tried to install it, it shows the same message.

I'm sorry, I don't know how to help you.  I've never had those kind of issues with XP.  Hopefully someone with more knowledge will see this and be able to help.

You need to run CCleaner to clean out all traces of the trial version....even then, there might be something left over. Google CCleaner, it's free, and reinstall Impulse. You should have installed and uninstalled through Impulse.

Good luck! :)

I uninstalled the program through CCleaner and Total Uninstall (uninstalls everything such as registry keys and such). So it should be a clean uninstall. Still doesn't work :(

restart your computer and run it in saft mode, once in safe mode a super admin accout will exist and you log into that one... if that doesn't do it, I don't know what will....
