How do I just grab the wallpaper from a DesktopX theme?

Currently running both Windowsblinds and DesktopX

I really like the wallpaper for the DesktopX theme Aero-XP, but all I want is the wallpaper not the desktopX objects

Is there anyway to get this wallpaper and use it within Windowsblinds?

 

(on a side note, I tried for the first time to create a new desktop with Aero XP and it woulnd't get past the "invalid zip code" box no matter what I typed into it)

Go to your theme folder, change the file extension for that theme from .Desktop to .zip, open it with winzip and take out the wallpaper.

You can also check the cache folder for your current theme.

 

As per the weather error:


Short story: all old weather widgets do not work anymore. THIS explains.

Meantime, you can disconnect from the internet to stop the pop up then disable the weather (i.e. remove it .) Check the widget galleries for newer, working weather widgets.
