can i pick your brains please?

hello all in the community.

ok i am not that brilliant with computers, i can format and reload from scratch but thats about it, so if this question seems dumb to some of you please bear in mind i am just the average joe bloggs computer user who depends on the knowledge of you more able users.

my current laptop has its hard drive split in 2 partitions with xp on one half and vista on the other. obviously i cant load icon x or window fx onto vista and this only works on xp, likewise i cannot load bootskin vista or logon studio vista onto xp etc etc.

in a short while i am splashing out on a new lappy with windows 7 on it. so basically my question is, apart from window blinds, my colours, icon packager, and sound packager............which elements of object desktop ultimate will work on windows 7? (obviously i already know icon x and windows fx wont) but i am refering to things like logon studio vista bootskin vista object dock etc etc.

please be kind guys and  i thank you all in advance for your advice.

forgot to mention guys that windows 7 i will be using will be 64bit

I have ODNT Ultimate on Win 7 64 and I use:

  • Windowblinds 7
  • DeskScapes 3
  • Fences Pro
  • Logon Studio
  • Icon Packager
  • Desktop X

Object Dock is not part of ODNT and must be purchased separately.  I have OD Pro and aside from Taskbar and Systray not working on 64 bit, I have had no problems. (OD 2 w/64 bit support coming soon!)

No Bootskin for Win 7

WinFX is supposed to be getting an upgrade, don't know when.

CursorFX is also purchased separately but works on Win 7 64 (although I have to apply twice to get cursors to work)
