Manifest mod system completely dead in final Diplomacy??

Hey,

I just updated to the newest builds of SoaSE, Entrenchment, and Diplomacy, and now all of a sudden the manifest system for the mods (mod stacking) isn't working at all.  If I stack two mods together, the game minidumps because the entity.manifest for Mod #1 doesn't have the entity refs for Mod #2.  If I switch the order so Mod #2 is on top, the game runs, but Mod #1 is completely ignored, despite the fact that the two mods have none of the same files.

Is anyone else encountering this problem?  I really wanted to be able to play Diplomacy today, but now I can't because the mods aren't stacking!

bcxtreme, the manifest system fom MY observations has ALWAYS been the top mod supplys the list(manifest) and essential changes,subsidry mods supply CHANGED files only (do NOT ADD ANY FILES) which is why you stack main mod eg megasb, eg dynamic movment, then bailkights, then stars graphics/sounds, and then the entrenchment and vanilla files are picked up IF the preceeding mods DID NOT supply them. at least that is my observations from entrenchment, and it would be reasonable to assume that it works in the same way in diplomacy.

the other mods that I had stacked were personal mods for changing particular sounds, and my megasb mod

also the instuctions in both bailknights and manshooters mods regarding stacking tend to confirm my opinion

Wait, so you've successfully stacked mods with the Manifest system in Diplomacy? I mostly just wanted to check if it was indeed broken, but if you confirm that you've stacked them since the latest patches and Diplo release, that means it works fine.

annatar, I had not tested stacking with mods other than my own, but my own mods behave in the same way in both entrenchment AND diplomacy, as an exmple I actually use 3 mods routinley when I get to play(rarely), my megaSB, my sins sounds, and my version of boshimi's stars graphics mod, and have also tested with the old player portraites mod, and from my own experience any entrenchment mod that does NOT have a playerRACE.entity is easy to translate, it is the MAJOR changes to the playerRACE.entity's that breaks mods when moving to diplomcy from entrenchment. for the simpler mods the only change that i have found is the  'allegianceDecreasePerRoundtrip 0.000000' at the end of the ship entitys. unfortunatly the playerRACE.entity's prevent a simple translate.

and I have been teseting with diplomacy 1.00.55
