windows freezing after open windowblinds 7

history . first installing was working well., but after changing backgroundcolor everything goes wrong. the screen was darkgrey and it needs a lot of reboots to get windows (7 home premium 32) on the screen. I uninstalled and reinstalled but the result was always the same -starting windowblinds the computer is freezing .???

At what point did the machine freeze?

Do you get to the login screen or is it before this?

If you can't logon then I would say that it's another problem other than WindowBlinds.  So, are you able to logon?

What background color did you change?

to pick up recent status:

color was darkgrey or something black - it´s a lot of time ago the problem started

the screen shows configuration status, the computer works for - let´s say 5 seconds - give me no time at all to react anyway -  it´s freezing time

My question about the background color was meant to do with changing the background color of what?

What configuration status are you seeing?

my current skin is darkbrushed metal. the problem started changing the skin streaky metal to darkbrushed metal, looking for background color and pressing apply changes and slap bangthe darkgrey screen and my nightmare started

the screen before freezing shows status line, a darkgrey window, the alternative skin line and the skins.

Okay, so now you spread a little more light on the problem.

Open WindowBlinds and click on About WindowBlinds and copy and paste the information here.  That will help show us whether or not you have a possible bad install of Wwindowblinds.

good idea, unfortunately I´ll have not enough time to click and copy I afraid. but anyway I´ll try it again.
End of rudolfnikles's quote

Not really sure I understand, but, okay.

I think he meant, that he does not have enough time, to copy and paste, before it freezes up.
