Downloading files from GCII.com

Having problems

Hi, been a while since I was on here, still love the game though.

I've been having a bit of an issue, I recently tried downloading a number of files from the site, but it seems they all come in an unreadable format for me. What happened? Is there a way to convert these? Or is there a special piece of software I need to use?

If you're using firefox, it doesn't properly handle files with spaces in the names. They're probably zip files in most cases.

Hmmm... That's odd as I've tried it with IE as well.
