Kind of stuck...

I have almost 200 games, and a 35 % win ratio.

In order to get 50%, I'll have to win the next 56 games that I play, which I highly doubt I will be doing.

I'm a decent player. My premade buddy, mandatorycloud, swears we're good enough to fit into Tier II. I honestly don't care. We've played the last few hundred games together, and get bored with the typical stomp setup. If a game isn't turning out, we'll have fun with it. Cloud wanted to try out an infinite mist build on cataract. Not an actual working build, he only dumped points in mist. It was hilarious. We lost. We'll gadget people over and over. We'll play a no-stun team. (QoT, occulus, reg) And then of course we'll legitimately lose games, which I say would account for a good 40% of our losses. But not 65%. Not with 200 games.

But its to the point where people rage about win percent in every game that I join.

People will join my game, look at mine and cloud's 35-36%, and rage quit after saying something like "balance". The same people we've played MANY games with MANY times and DOMINATED THEM. We roflstomped this one team. I rehost, the guy joins in, is on our team this time (was on the losing enemy side last game). Looks at our win ratio, says "sorry, no balance", and leaves. The same person from THE GAME BEFORE. I'll have teammates rage at me in game for not shielding them when I'm playing minion oak, and have clearly stated "no mana" time and time again. Will rage at me for not getting pentinence or level 3 shield when I hit level 7 while I've taken out multiple towers and am harrassing enemy demigods. Countless situations and lobbies where cloud and mine win percent was the determing factor.

It's just pretty ragey all around. Felt like making a topic about it.

Play Oak or Erebus for like 10-15 games, it'll boost your win percentage. When I need a boost to my win % I just start playing Oak.

keep getting on vent is all i can suggest.

I hate you!  Aarrrrrgh!

Ok, j/k.  GG last team, too bad one of those guys exploited.  I posted the replay up, btw, hoping someone can pinpoint the cheater.

because 99% of players with <40% win ratio are totally useless and lose your team the game (and it looks worse the more games you've played)
i.e. having less than 3k hp, having no armor, not carrying sigils, not using portals or flag locks, not buying citadel upgrades, not fake-casting, not capping gold flags etc.
you might be an exception, but how are other players to know.

Yeah man. I don't play without joining Lagwars. Its so much more fun to talk shit then type shit. Plus listening to all the frustration with crash after crash is fun too.

The frustration, not the crashing. Crashing isnt fun.

I wouldn't consider fake casting an essential to good gameplay.

prepare to die a lot not being able to escape with a fake cast tp, or not being able to lock a vital flag due to enemy interrupts

also useful to scare off enemy players from towers / flags / allies without actually using teleport

Fake casting is fun. Trying to see how many portal things you can get going.

I forgot who it was, but I was playing a game and someone was fake casting while we could see him to the tower like 10 feet away. It was hilarious. He did it like 3 times at once so I think he was kidding. Was still funny.

If you start fake casting a teleport they can cancel it with enough luck and then it won't help you at all

You also can't guarantee your enemy will fall for your fake casting, they could just take the opportunity to pound on you while you're messing around with your overly complicated tactics.

You will only scare enemy players away for three seconds with a fake tele...

3 seconds makes all the difference. Plus, when you fake port, they might assume incorrectly when you really port in and over-extend.

Yes, but it's no better than just directly teleporting there most of the time.

Hey, doubt is a great thing.

Guys, you're missing the point. This thread is about how much I suck. Stop changing the topic. And shakenbake, if we ever play, feel free to judge whether I'm spouting bs and am just a terrible player underneath it all.

Well wall, I read your stats, and I'd say it's a safe bet to say your not the best player out there. The majority of your games are with LE and Oak, and seeing as you have a less than 40% win rate with the easiest to play and most overpowered demigods, you can't be great. In the games I looked at, you almost never have the highest favor points on your team. You do play with higher level opponents however, so you're not as bad as your stats at first glance.

I'm also guessing your some sort of masochist, and I suggest you see a psychologist before your starting pulling your teeths out and getting people to smack you in the kidneys with golf clubs.

Dude, when we played you weren't terrible. Lets play some more! :D

Woah, chill man. It seems my sarcasm was lost on those who haven't talked to me in game. I've been playing a lot of Oak and LE recently, but my best are UB and Sedna. And yes, I still lose a lot. I've played you a few games even.

I'm just raging that unless I go on a serious stomping streak, my win percent will still hover in the high 30s low 40s, and how people use this to judge whether or not they want to play with you.

I'll be around for awhile Teseer, definately on vent too. Good playing with you, the past few weeks of getting games up on vent have been the best games I've played the past few months. Epic end game teleparties.

The last bit was also sarcastic. A note to humanity: people can't hear sarcasm over the internet
