No Sound in Demigod

Well the title is not true exactly, I can get intro sound (no voiceover though) and I get the sound of the Gas Powered Games Logo rushing on screen on boot up, but after that I have no menu sound and no in game sound either! Has anyone else had this issue?

Any help would be great

It might be obvious, but did you check to see if you have disable sounds in the options menu?

If the above isnt so, perhaps deleting your prefs file in My Documents/Gas Powered Games/Demigod folder may also help.

If neither of the above is true then give me your password it maybe an ingame problem with the ports; I'll fix it for you.

Also try setting your windows speaker configuration to "Desktop Stereo".

Indeed, I recall XACT not playing well with 4.1+ on some setups.

Check you have got game sound settings turned on?
