One of my all time favs is Mike's Sirus suite and the add-on's he and Boxxi made are amazing. When we had all the weather palava a few months ago I lost the use of the weather widget and I have tried 'hacking' it and make it 'legal' but I cannot even open it up with 'builder' or anything else for that matter. I hope I don't offend anyone or Mike by my question, but I'd really love to get my fav weather widget working again.............somehow or somewhere |-)

Thanks, karmat..............I like Jim's widget but I prefer Mike's more compact version plus it goes well with the calendar and clock gadgets he made |-)

How about just asking MikeB directly, the maker of the gadgets ? ;) Perhaps You can even work together and fix it ? He really is a nice guy.

Gadgets are damn near impossible to do anything with. The best solution is the above suggestion.  Sorry.

I agree, if someone comes to me telling me something is broken, normally i will do my best to fix it, unless its a dead product, and if so, i might even give someone else the code to do it themselves.

there is a reason for that.. its called "intellectual property", some of us "Gadget" makers would like to be able to TRY and make some $ back from all the hundreds (if not thousands) of hours spent on some of these gadgets.  And having it so that someone could simply go to "Builder mode" and do what they want with it (like making their own version), would be a real slap in the face to the creator.

I agree, it wasn't a complaint, more like information.

Very good point.
