Wincustomize Renewal

My Wincustomize subscription ran out. My question is why does a renewal cost as much as a new subscriber?

I emailed wincustomize but no answer after 2 tries. Must be down from the holidays.

Anybody else have this?

Thanks...Stephen

Most printed publications I subscribe to require a "full price" renewal...

Might also be due to the unification of Oblect Desktop and Object Desktop Ultimate. I figure if it's worth it...it's worth it.

It's been a while but I believe when you used to renew your WinCustomize subscription you got two years for the same price.  Someone help me out here, that is correct is it not?

Not since they increased the amount of subscriber skins.

I do remember Brad mentioning the idea of a price change with different levels of subscribership when the new site comes out.

I'm not sure if there is a renewal price, but if there is I'm sure you would only get it by re-subscribing before you current sub ran out.

Mine ran out as well. There used to be a renewal price. I'm not seeing it now. I forgot how much the price had gone up. It may be a while before I can renew. (I got kidney stiones to support, now. :S ) But then, the damn ads may drive me crazy first.

The renewal prices were matched with the "regular" price when the premium skins were introduced.

Ad blockers can be convenient, but it can often defeat the purpose of having ads....to earn revenue for the site.

I have no problem subscribing and supporting the site. Timing is just really bad right now. :)
