Have you tried unistalling and installing again?

If you already tried that, have you tried clicking "Verify Installation" on Impulse?

What OS do you have? Try to run program as administrator. Check your video and sound drivers and update if its available.

Do you get any messages after the load attempt? Did you tried stardock support?

Also: Check the Demigod log file.

It should display exactly what is happening and why the game is unable to load. It is usually located in: My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod\DemigodLog.txt

Yah, I emailed Stardock...got an auto response saying it'll take 2 days or so to get back...I have Windows XP...comp is 3 years old or so, but has a duocore, plenty of RAM, and an envidia 8800...how do I check for updates for the video and sound drivers...?  (I know...I feel like a noob!)

Check the log first maybe we can find something interesting.You can find drivers for your graphic card here:http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

K...uninstalled/reinstalled...redid everything...same problem...

Checked log...found this near the bottom:  "Impulse error when calling GetPlayerData in Addplayer.  Unable to add player: [0] to game."  Mean anything to you?

Also, got the new driver(s)...all set w/that!

Inside the same folder you found the Demigodlog file, there is another file called "Game". Its a .prefs file (Game.prefs). Open it with notepad or a similar text viewing program, and delete everything written there (Ctrl+A , Delete).

Then try again to launch the game.

It will probably do nothing, and your problem will persist, but try it anyway.

After doing that (or not) sent the entire Demigodlog file to Stardock support. Mail it to them, along with explaining them the problem.

They can be a lot more help than players of the game.

When I try to open the game.prefs file, it won't let me!  It pops up with a window that says "Windows cannot open this file."  Then it says, "to open this file, Windows needs to know what program created it."  Then it gives me the option of searching the web to find it or selecting a program from a list, neither of which seems to work...weeeeeeeeeeird!

Thoughts?  Suggestions?!

Also, interestingly enough, under the heading "Play Count," on the Impulse, each time I try to run the game the play count goes up one, but still nothing is happening...just some food for thought

Not to overload the situation, but I just noticed that there's a bunch of warning lines in the log...

To open the game.prefs file, click "select a program from the list" then select notepad, if it isnt on the list, then click browse, and find it inside the Windows folder. When you click to open it with notepad it will open like a normal .txt file.

Also: Can you post all the errors from the Demigodlog file it gives you? (Warnings, errors, etc) Just copy/paste them.

Hi, I have a problem.  I have downloaded and installed both enttrenchment and diplomacy, but when I load it, I cant play trinity. How do i combine the expansions?
